1 Product I Regret Buying: Rimmel lip stain

Hi everyone.

Yes this is my second blog post today but I'm really enjoying blogging at the moment and seen as I have nothing to do tonight I thought I would do a post on a product I regret buying.

This is the Rimmel London lasting finish 1000 kisses transferproof lip tint..thats a mouthful..
Its in the colour 700 nothing but nude. It isn't really a nude colour, it's more of a deep coral.
I have pictures of the product but not any swatches, and that is one of the main reasons I regret buying it.

I got this product at the clothes show on the 11th of December 2012 in a rimmel goody bag so, technically i didn't pay full price for it, but for the sake of this post lets just say i did. I used it that day and i really liked it. It comes with a really thick balm on the other end which you're meant to apply after the tint. I really do love the balm but once when I took the lid off, the balm fell out, so the packaging is of a poor standard and I guess the tint was OK. It wasn't anything amazing it was just like a regular lip tint. It didn't go blotchy which is why I loved it at first and it actually looked quite nice.

Then, after a few days it started running out when I had only used it about 3 times. This is why I cannot swatch it for you. It hasn't completely run out but its not worth swatching.

Considering the price of this lip tint, I think it is a rip off. This product retails for £4.49 and lasts for about 3 uses. Please do not buy this product it is a complete waste of money!
It has a felt tip end and there is no way of pressing a button to release more product, so when I saw it I wasn't really expecting much to be honest.

The only good thing about this product is that it smells SO nice! Haha.

Thanks for reading!

Soft and Gentle: MAC

Hi everyone!

I'm on a bit of a role with my posts at the moment and want to post one every second of the day! I have so many things I want to blog about as I have so many products!

Anyway, this blog post is about one of my favorite make-up products of all time and it is MACS Mineralize skin-finish in soft and gentle. This is such a perfect high-lighter if you apply it on where the sun hits your face. It makes your skin look radiant and glowing and makes you look wide awake no matter how tired you are.

I apply it on the tops of my cheekbones and all the way down the center of my face. This makes my skin look really healthy! I will now insert a picture of the product below.
Its a powdered highlighter which is really shimmery so a little goes a long way. I bought this product a few days after Christmas and it still looks new! It costs £21.50 which is a little pricey but trust me it is worth it! It lasts up to a year if you use it everyday, as you only need a little bit. If you have darker skin, then there are different shades such as ones named gold deposit for the darker skinned of you, which will still high-light your skin, and I think there might even be one for lighter skinned people called Lightscapade, which has tints of blue in for a metallic finish.

Any way if you can get your hands on one of these I totally recommend it.

Not all my posts will be reviews I will do monthly faves and hauls and also products I don't recommend.

If you haven't read yesterdays post on my vanilla cupcake Yankee candle, click here and please follow me it really helps me out!

Thankyou so much for reading and i'll speak to you all soon!

First blog post: Yankee candle

Hi everyone my name is Jenny and I'm starting this blog because I have been inspired by other people who love to write about their beauty and makeup products. I want my first post to be about something that I have bought today as I went shopping.

Today I bought my very first Yankee candle and I am in love with it! Its in the scent "Vanilla Cupcake" which I have seen all over instagram. Everyone was raving about it so I decided to buy it as it is meant to be amazing. I will insert some pictures below.

This is only a small jar Yankee candle but it is meant to last for 20-40 hours depending on how well you spread it out. I don't think mine will last long as I am constantly burning it. Its just too nice! This candle costs £8.39 and is just smaller than a tennis ball size. It is an extremely sweet scent so if you are not keen on sweet, young scents then I don't recommend this. It just smells like cakes and frosting all in one it is honestly so lovely.
It doesn't really fill the room with its scent which I was quite disappointed about as I really wanted my room to smell like it, but occasionally you get a whiff of it and its like you have some freshly baked cakes in the room.

The jar looks very sophisticated and grown-up which I love. Yankee candle has so many different scents and they are all AMAZING. If you do not own or have never smelt a Yankee candle then i suggest you do so very soon because you are really missing out.
They're also very relaxing to have burning whilst doing homework or writing a blog post like I am now :)

Thankyou for reading my very first blog post! Please follow me and I promise to blog about all my favourite things and probably start doing hauls and monthly faves!

Thanks again for reading!
